But the thing is-- and I don't even know if I'm saying this right, but-- but, I was in a kind of music-y mood and was watching some youtube videos (like
this one, where David Archuleta sings Fields of Gold, and wooooow, boy can sing) and eventually I got over to
this, from the finale of the most recent season of The Sing Off, and anyway, both of them really get to me, in different ways, but in any case-- wow.
But what made me want to write this is the second one, where it's three of the groups singing together, and gosh, it's just-- such an amazing moment, and I'm watching and thinking, wow, that must feel incredible, because they're making music together, and it must be something like being in the audience at a concert where everyone's together and singing along and feeling the same thing, being part of the same thing, but if you're a performer and you're up there, and you're making that moment, it must be the best thing in the world.
And that got me thinking, is there anything like that for our kind of art? Is there any way for writers to do that, to get that feeling, that moment?
Seriously, guys, I know this is so jumbled and probably worded terribly, but I'm just-- feeling a lot and it's probably getting in the way of expressing myself, but-- I would really, really love to hear your thoughts on this.
